Lions Head Hike

Woke up at 5:30 this morning to go for my first hike up Lions Head with Trevor Wilkins, fearless leader of Ambassadorial Scholars. I thought perhaps we would do a generic trail up to the top. However, I don't think Trevor does "generic." 20 minutes into the hike we left the path and headed up rocks. I'm happy to report that my kneecaps stayed attached and the views were breathtaking. A bonus of hiking with a bed-and-breakfast owner and professional photographer: breakfast and tea for us packed in his bag and pictures of the hike.

Great pictures and descriptions of the Cape of Good Hope and Lions Head! Thank you for sharing, and it was so great to talk with you tonight -- sounds wonderful, challenging, interesting and exciting all at once. What at adventure it must be! Blake
